Farnworth Sub Aqua Club (FSAC) is a member of the British Sub Aqua Club (BSAC), the world's biggest diving club. The BSAC is one of the most respected diving organisations in the world with a reputation for the excellence of its diver training programme. Formed to promote underwater sport, exploration, science and safety to the highest standards

We meet every Wednesday at St. Greggs Club on Church Street, Farnworth at 8.00pm (7.20pm for training) At 8:45 we all move to Farnworth swimming pool. (Next to Asda) We hire Farnworth pool from 9pm to 10pm every Wednesday. Bring a £1 coin (returnable) for the lockers. After the pool if there are any further question we return to St. Greggs, Church Street, Farnworth.

A committee that is voted in at the Annual General Meeting each year around April runs FSAC (Farnworth Sub Aqua Club). All fully paid up, full diving members have a vote. The committee is currently made up of seven members, which hold the positions: - Diving Officer, Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary, Training Officer, Boat Officer, and Equipment Officer. The committee meets on the first Monday in each month to discuss the running of the club.

Open water diving usually continues all year round, although sea diving is more common during the summer months, if the sea is unsuitable we travel to various quarries.

On weekends away we will camp, go bed & breakfast, or even rent our own holiday home, or combinations of all, to suit all members.
